Meet Mark Vaughn:
I was born in Alabama but my family moved to Georgia when I was five. I always felt like Alabama was home to me, so settling down here speaks to my heart and soul.
I received an Air Force ROTC academic scholarship to Auburn University and majored in Agriculture Science, but the twists and turns of military life moved me away from my dreams of farming. Now that I'm retired, I have the time and independence to pursue this passion without distraction, and that's where Harmony Farms comes in.
As the name indicates, Harmony Farms is about keeping the land and all the animals on it, in perfect balance with the ecosystem, by using regenerative farming practices. We're not only preserving the land, but enhancing its health and production by creating an environment where everything thrives to its highest potential.
More about our farm...
Our laying hens are loved and cared for, and we are passionate about the eggs they produce. We feed them organic feed, supplemented with Organic Sea Salt 90 (90 minerals created and perfectly balanced by our Creator), and they are 100% pasture raised with multiple weekly rotations on the land. Our chickens graze on a salad bar of fresh grass, bugs, worms, and all that nature offers. Because of this natural, stress-free life, our eggs are superior in nutrition, flavor and texture.Right now our focus is mainly on the production of chickens and eggs, with a few cattle and pigs. As the farm grows we plan to add more livestock providing additional nutritional products to the community, while still keeping the farm small and manageable. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. We are more than happy tofurther introduce you to who we are, and the products we sell.
